Hello, and congratulations on your upcoming wedding! My name is Christy Schneider, and I’m a designer, illustrator and letterpress printer. I design and print custom wedding stationery that reflect you and your partner’s personalities, your color palette, your wedding location, flowers, how you met, your interests — or any other ideas you may have. Everything is customized just for you. I love working with couples to create something that’s uniquely them!

My services include both design and printing. I do letterpress printing, hot foil stamping and diecutting in-house on my vintage presses in Lawrence, Kansas. 

My Process

  1. The first step is to meet either in person at my studio, or over Zoom, so I can learn more about what you might be envisioning for your wedding stationery. There is no cost for this meeting, and it usually lasts between 30 and 60 minutes. If you’re able to come to my studio, you’ll be able to view a bunch of printed samples in person, as well as paper and ink swatches. 

  2. I create two wedding invitation design options based on your ideas and needs, mocking up all the components in PDFs via email for you to review. I estimate the printing prices for each design so you know what each option will cost when I send you the proposed designs.

  3. Once you let me know which option you like best, we work back and forth to refine the final design until everything is just right. 

  4. When the final design is approved, I print your invitations and complete any other services such as addressing or calligraphy.
